The Society of International Economic Law and Hart Publishing have established the SIEL/Hart Prize. It is awarded every two years to an outstanding unpublished manuscript by an early career scholar in the field of International Economic Law. The winner of the prize will receive a contract for publication within the Hart series Studies in International Trade and Investment Law and a £250 Hart book voucher. The manuscript can be a doctoral thesis or an original, book-length piece of scholarship. The manuscript can focus on any field of, or perspective on, International Economic Law.

What do 450 young people from several EU countries have to say to Europeans about the future of Europe, given Europe’s present challenges as seen in the rise of populism, economic inequality, voters’ disengagement and migration crisis? The European University College Association (EucA) is organising a revamped version of the original "Message to Europeans" to find out. At six events which will be held in the following years throughout the EU, about 60 participants from 12 EU countries will be engaged in several activities spanning from simulations, mock trials, British Parliamentary debates to PechaKuchas. The activities will allow an engaging reflection on the most urgent issues and rising topics populism, paired with an innovative online presence with the purpose of writing a "Message to the Europeans" on the future of Europe by enabling a critical and deep reflection on the EU as it is now.
