The University of Eastern Finland (UEF) is organising a summer course on Food Law and Policy on August 14 – 25, 2017 in its campus in Joensuu, Finland. Advanced students interested in the topic of the course and professionals in this field are welcome to apply.

Academic Content: Food safety and nutrition, animal law, international trade, etc.
ECTS: 5 credits
Language: English
Number of participants: 30
Tuition Fees: €500 course fee for non-UEF participants.
Accommodation + board: not included in the course fee. However, candidates can indicate in their application their preferred housing option. For more information on costs and options, please see the official page.


The course is aimed at advanced students at Master or PhD level, as well as experts in the field of food law and policy.

Documents: candidates must submit their academic transcripts in English and a copy of their passport/ID along with the application form.
