Interested in European Privacy laws and meeting industry professionals? Search no more. The 4th European Data Protection Law Summer School organised by Brussels Privacy Hub in Brussels, Belgium presents academics, professionals, students, and everyone else with a unique and fun opportunity over the summer. This will be taking place between June 24-28, 2019.

What?

This summer school will give you the chance to listen to some of the digital industry’s top professionals and bring valuable contribution to current policy debates. A few of the topics covered are:

  • Obligations of data controllers and processors
  • Accountability
  • GDPR
  • Data subject rights
  • The role of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)
  • Legal challenges of privacy from a European perspective, with special focus on transatlantic discussions

How?

To apply, complete the online registration form. 

Participants are called to pay the following fees:

  • Professionals: 2000 €
  • Early career academics: 1800€
  • Civil society: 1500€

When?

Apply before June 14, 2019. The summer school will take place in Brussels from June 24-28, 2019.
