The 4th edition of the mock trial “Arbitrators’ Quest” organised by Konrad & Partners will take place in Vienna on May 17, 2018, with the hearing being held at the premises of Konrad & Partners’ Vienna office.

This workshop aims to provide participants with hands-on experience on matters typically arising in international arbitration disputes. Supervision and close cooperation will be offered by experienced practitioners and renowned scholars in the field. The winner will be offered a paid two-month summer internship at Konrad & Partner’s Vienna office, accommodation included.

Applicants are expected to have general knowledge about the arbitration process, while advanced study of academic work is encouraged. The mock case file will be distributed to all participants in March, in order to begin their preparation for the trial and enable them to complete pre-trial tasks.

In order to apply, students must submit a personal statement for their motivation to participate in the mock trial and internship, a detailed CV and an academic paper on the topic of “Contradicting dispute resolution clauses contained within the same contract”.
