The 14th International Winter Residential School on Economic Social and Development Rights (ESDR) will be held in Kathmandi, Nepal from December 28, 2019 to January 17, 2020 with the theme: "Harmonising Foreign Investment with Economic Social and Development Rights".
What?
ESDR is the longest running flagship program of The Kathmandu School of Law; an intense, demanding and immersive diploma course of 21 days. The in-depth and extensive curriculum is developed by experts in various aspects of socio-economic and development rights, with the following objectives:
- To enhance ESDR as substantial and integral human rights
- To explore common ESDR issues in Asia Pacific Region
- To propose feasible, consensual solutions to these issues with an interdisciplinary, holistic and pragmatic approach
Who?
Bachelors, Masters and PhD students of Law, International Relations and other social sciences from all nationalities are welcome to apply.
How?

There is a registration fee of 400 USD for international students, including board and accommodation. Partial scholarships are available.
