UN Women Nordic Office, located in UN City in Copenhagen, is offering a full time internship from February 2016 to July 2016. The intern will work under the supervision of the director of the Office, and is expected to assist UN Women's efforts to achieve gender equality, focusing on women's equal participation in all aspects of life.

UN Women Nordic Office, located in UN City in Copenhagen, is offering a full time internship from February 2016 to July 2016. The intern will work under the supervision of the director of the Office, and is expected to assist UN Women's efforts to achieve gender equality, focusing on women's equal participation in all aspects of life.

Main duties include, but are not limited to, monitoring national media and worldwide trends on issues related to the mandate of UN Women, assisting in the preparatory work for the Women Deliver Conference, translating press-releases, and handling inquires from the general public.

Who?

Students currently enrolled in a university or graduate school who have attended courses in the past 12 months, and have completed at least two years of undergraduate study. Applicants are expected to have a strong command of the English language, while excellent writing skills in a Nordic language are considered an asset.

When?

The deadline for applications is on October 19, 2015. Successful applicants will be scheduled to go through an interview in November. The internship will start in February 2016 and end at the end of July 2016.
