Google Legal is looking for law students with an interest in technology and the internet become members of its regional legal teams, based in Stockholm, Warsaw, Tel Aviv-Yafo, Milan, Moscow, Paris and Madrid.Interns will be offered the opportunity to get an insight into the legal issues at Google and YouTube and face some of the most challenging legal issues of the information age.
Interns are expected to conduct legal research on a variety of topics, including intellectual property, consumer and media regulations, advertising law, data protection. They will also be assisting the legal team in the preparation and the management of court actions, and participating in the creation and maintenance of internal knowledge databases of the legal team.
Who?
Applications are open to current law students who will maintain their student status throughout the internship, and members of post-graduation study programs that require legal training. Applicants who considered to be well organized and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure will be preferred.
Fluency in English and the local language is required. Experience in a leading law firm, or in-house in a media/technology company is considered an asset.
