The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) is offering a six-month long internship with the Oak Foundation, starting in early January 2016. The intern will work closely with the International Human Rights Programme Director and Officers, in the Oak Foundation offices in central London. 

The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre (EHRAC) is offering a six-month long internship with the Oak Foundation, starting in early January 2016. The intern will work closely with the International Human Rights Programme Director and Officers, in the Oak Foundation offices in central London. 

Main duties will typically include drafting recommendations in relation to draft applications, monitoring and evaluating grant holders, conducting routine correspondence and scheduling appointments.

Who?

Recent graduates and postgraduates with a degree or practical experience in human rights, international development, or in a related field, and strong research skills. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required, as well as competent use of all Microsoft Office applications.

When?

The application deadline is on November 4, 2015. Long listed candidates are expected to go through a 1 day assessment on November 23, 2015 at the EHRAC's offices in Hendon, London. Short listed candidates will be invited for an interview on December 14, 2015 at the Oak Foundation offices in central London.

The internship will start in early January 2015.

 

Please note that this is a paid internship. A stipend of 70 GBP per day is offered (approximately 95,3 EUR).
