Carnagie Council for Ethics in International Affairs launches its 7th annual International Essay contest, open to teachers and students of any level. Participants are invited to write about one of the three selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a new, universal set of goals, targets and indicators that UN member states will be expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies over the next 15 years. 

The Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea is recruiting interns for a two-month internship within the period from December 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. Graduate students who wish to gain practical experience in ocean affairs and the law of the sea, and an opportunity to work in a multicultural, intergovernmental organisation are invited to apply. 

The European Human Rights Advocacy Centre is offering a legal internship in their office in Middlesex University, starting January 2016. The intern will support the legal team in research, litigation, advocacy and implementation activities, and gain first-hand experience of strategic litigation using the European Court of Human Rights, with a focus on addressing systemic human rights violations in the post-Soviet region.
