The Italian law journal "Comparazione e diritto civile" invites submissions for a special issue on “Who needs comparative law?” The journal was founded in 2010, and is now available in both print and on-line version.

The Editorial Board of Bocconi Legal Papers selects papers to be published in its hard copy issue or its electronic platform. The release of its Number 9 is expected in June 2017. The editors of the Law Journal are collecting contributions related to the field of “European and International Contract Law”. In an historical moment where transnational contractual relations are increasing, Bocconi Legal Papers endeavours to foster a critical dialogue on the laws and best practices applicable to such transactions.

The Manchester Law School is pleased to invite submissions for its conference “Feminist Reflections On Law Society and Care”, to be held on July 21, 2017 at Manchester Law School, UK. This event aims to bring together individuals working within feminist frameworks to address contemporary societal issues.  Among the speakers announced are Donna Dickenson (“Property in the Body: Feminist Perspectives”), Alison Jaggar (“Gendered Perspectives on Global Justice”) and Marian Verkerk (“Family Ethics of Care”).

If you are between 17 and 27 years old and you are looking for a way to fund your journey, you can apply for a Schwarzkopf Foundation travel grant until March 19, 2017. Since 1971 the Schwarzkopf Foundation works to involve young people in politics and spark enthusiasm for European integration. You decide how you will spend the 550 € on your trip. You will receive 400 € at the beginning of your journey, and the other 150 € after submitting your travel report. The grant holders can decide freely which part of the travel costs will be covered by the grant.
